Hello! I am a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of California, Davis. I study how galaxies form and evolve over the 13+ billion year history of the Universe. Our research group uses the most powerful telescopes including the James Webb Space Telescope, Hubble Space Telescope, and Keck Observatory to study galaxies all the way from our local group to the most distant known sources and everywhere in between.
